WHAT
INSPIRES
THEM.
The Wichana Foundation has been a source of inspiration and empowerment in my life, both personally and professionally. Its focus on supporting local initiatives to address the challenges of communities, especially women and indigenous groups, has transformed my vision of community work and health. Through collaboration with midwives and medical care in remote communities, I have learned that true change begins with local knowledge and talent, and Wichana has been a catalyst for that change. The foundation not only promotes innovation and collective collaboration, but also makes visible the value of ancestral knowledge and the work of communities in solving their own challenges. My experience working on these projects has been a process of profound growth, which has strengthened and empowered me as a woman.
Today, more than ever, I am committed to fighting for the guarantee of essential rights such as health, and to continue working for a more just and inclusive society. Wichana has taught me that real change is possible when communities are the protagonists of their own development, and has inspired me to continue fighting for a more equitable future.

OUR
INITIATIVES.
The Wichana Foundation has two channels for our work. The first is our support of our Partner organizations. Our support can include fundraising and administration of donations, technical advice, training and support, and project collaboration. The second channel is our direct initiatives that we directly organize and administer. Find out detailed information below.
